Second why would I ask people here what they are worth ? It is not their field of collecting ,it like me asking you -What would you pay for a TIBET airmail cover ? Those are very collectible to a specialized collector and the original reprints do come up in major auctions ,if you want a price, search thru Cherrystone or another major auction house .

I agree with this sentiment, as with all requests "what is the value?"
catalogue Value I can deal with, any other value, must lie with the individual.
Floortrader's advice, ebay etc, are fine avenues to find parameters of value.

simoncpage, your link in the post immediately above mine doesn't work, at least not as I'm typing.

In your pics on the previous page, I can't tell the difference in the first 2 pics. But in the last 2 pics, the darker red-orange and light red-orange stamps are clearly from different dies. They are different in several areas. Most easy to notice is where the hair crosses the crown -- the 2 short diagonal hair lines aren't the same as they meet the crown. The darker stamp looks a little more like the genuine 1912 reprints that I've seen -- but if it doesn't have "REPRINT" in the same color on the back, then it's not a genuine 1912 red-orange reprint. For comparison, see
