Hello everybody,
what were these small vertical lines used for, like grooved ?
Have they been made in postal processing? I doubt so as the lines are not really visible in the paper (only at thin areas) that is still stuck to the back, it seems to be only on the stamp. So perhaps any printing machine (any waldo?) made this?
