Double Transfer On R164

Here is a double transfer on R164.

Too many Pick Up Points (PUP).

I've added arrows points to some of the more important PUP.

I've also reported a black and white image, a trick by an old timer that makes looking for double transfers easier. Works best on Red color stamps. Works but not as good on yellow stamps!

The 1898 Revenue Series U.S. Stamps have many varieties!

Easy to find.

Hi all, was hoping someone would have a matching example of this one.

There are many varieties on the Battleship Revenue Stamps, if you happened to be a new variety stamp collector, the Battleship Revenue Stamps are cheap, and now with the internet, you (and myself) can find nice varieties for get them for cheap.

Good luck, stamp collecting is an adventure. Sometimes the chase is more fun than the actual capture. Some stamps have interesting stories behind them.

That's a good one, with doubling throughout much of the stamp.

Hi, many pick up points (PUP), besides the arrows I added. If I were to add all the arrows pointing to the PUP the scan would be full of arrows and no one could see the stamp it self. Of course I guess that would be funny.

Hi all, I forgot to mention in my original 8/27/2017 at 2101 hours that I believe this is a downward or transfer to the south orientation.

The offset from top to bottom orientation varies to me eyes, does any one else agree, perhaps its just my eyes?

Thanks for sharing this oddity. Honestly, it never dawned on me to look out for double transfers!!! I am avid collector of all things RB23 (5/8th Cents Battleship Proprietary Revenue) so... I am currently combing through my collection with a magnifying glass hoping to find a "double transfer"! If not the hunt begins. Cheers and respects good sir,
