In case there was any question, postage stamps were not used with case stamps.

Someone just stuck the Lincoln stamp on; it doesn't belong there.

It is not an "interesting use."

Probably what happened was they were in a box together and the room got too hot and humid for the stamps. These to items stuck together.

What a clown- the postmark on the Lincoln doesn't tie it down to the Case Stamp and...... lol .......... the Lincoln stamp sits over the markings on the Case Stamp!
