My dear old Boy! Canada is a fine country in every respect, but you find no restaurant (something) here or people don't know what a (something) is, a (something), nobody jolling(?) here, so I shall go back before long. Your Thomas.

My dear old Boy, Canada is a fine country in every respect, but you find no restaurant waiter here or people don't know what a Beer is, Well nobody is jobbing here, so I shall go back before long. Your Thomas. Don
thank you - ok as this seems to be a Swiss writing this (probably it's not error-free?), which I didn't think at the beginning, I would read it like:
My dear old Boy, Canada is a fine country in every respect, but you find no "Restaurant Walder" here & people don't know what a Buur is & a Nell & nobody is jodling here, so I shall go back before long. Your Thomas.
So probably the "Walder" is a name, "Buur" is farmer in Swiss and "Nell" is a trump card in a Swiss card game. Now I also learned something from a stamp and a postcard :).
