Hi, bet you might find one on ebay Stamps. Are you familiar of ebay? With a common stamp such as 565, you will have your choice. Good luck. Stampmaster |

Please show me one on ebay! I have had a search activated for six months or more and check the results daily. Maybe I am missing something. |

Current and completed auctions and fixed price listings shows zero results for #565 used block of four (or larger).
That one might be a while... |

Hi again, just searched ebay for you. Found 40 blocks of reported to be 565, and 3 reported to be full panes (but described incorrectly as sheets). Now most were mint, but there was some used blocks. Plate blocks also in there 40 blocks I found. Again, my opinion is this is a common stamp, if correctly identified in the first place. Good luck. You might also try the Stamp Auction Network! With a little effort you should be able to find what you are looking for. Good luck. Stampmaster |

Ahh, didn't think of searching postal history since OP was just after a used block of 4... and soaking the blocks off would be sacrilege! |

Hi, I did not recommend searching postal history.
Good luck in your stamp collecting adventures.

Thanks to all. Good suggestions. I had not looked outside of ebay. I thought that maybe someone on SCF might have one. I hate to admit it, but during my early ebay learning curve, I sold my used block not realizing that it was part of a set. It is the only block missing from 551-573. I do realize it is a common set. Maybe I can find one at the next stamp show I attend. |

Hi rlmstamps2012, good luck in finding your used block that you are looking for.
Should be easy enough, in my opinion 565 blocks are found common. But maybe you are having trouble finding one to your liking.
Maybe you are looking for the blocks with 3MM spacing instead of the normal 2MM? Now that could be much more difficult to find. Is this what you are looking for?
Of course you'll have to watch out for the rotary press 696 version misidentified as 565.
There is also plate varieties as reported in French's book to look out for.
Good luck
