I lost count of all the altered revenues he has up on ebay (trimmed fake imperfs and part perfs).

Mint - except the enormous giant purple splodges in at least two huge spots on the stamp.

A missed business opportunity: optometrists should be advertising in the stamp collecting section of ebay.

Maybe also magnifying glass manufacturers and industrial light bulb wholesalers.

If you can't tell that that stamp is used, you shouldn't be selling stamps.

Yep,

Gen-U-wine Mint with cancel.

Not as rare as a red or green line perhaps, but pretty darn scarce. I wonder how this dealer seems to have so many though...

I have bought twice from Nelson on ebay, and both times he sold hinged items as NH. In both cases he claimed the classic "my eyes, my eyes." If one claims their eyes are failing, then why are they making judgements about hinging and representing these judgements in sales descriptions? It's not an excuse and it really singes my drawers every time a seller says that. If you can't see, DON'T SELL stamps anymore unless you have competent help. You can fit in a straw what my wife knows about philately, but she can easily ascertain hinging vs. no hinging in 99% of cases. So I have a plan if my eyesight ever fails.

I have not had the pleasure of dealing with Nelson on Mexico, despite being a devout nut case for Exportas collecting. His prices are insanely high on Mexico.

He's a shyster of Orwellian proportions... as are some of the other high profile stamp sellers out there. I won't mention specific names, as the last time I did, some members here complained that I dared to publicly criticize a well known seller who takes "moral liberties" with their descriptions, and my post was removed.

Apparently certain dealers are exempt from public ridicule.
