Hi, here is a scan of a double transfer.

Too many Pick Up Points (PUP) to show. If I had added arrows there would be way too many of them.

If this one was not a double transfer, since it's in such faulty condition, would be off to the dust bin!

I hope everyone enjoys this Double Transfer.

No need to throw any stamps in the dust bin. I will take stamps in any condition. I can find some use for them

I keep everything. I don't know made some weird sense of preserving history. I sort by stamp so it just goes in along with the good stamps.

I know you like your watermark, and its your choice but it is extremely distracting. Sometimes it makes it so hard to view your stamp I just pass on commenting.

Hi mkfarm, I do not understand when you say "I know you like your watermark", sorry but I did not include a scan of the watermark?

How can you keep everything? Does the boss say anything?

Well, one year I hinged a loop of thread to the back of a group of faulty first Bureau issues and hung them on the Christmas tree. Still got them somewhere. Liked 'em.
Nice DT! Well marked left side, but the marks in the upper right margin are confusing.
If the original impression was to the left as indicated by all the markings to the left of the new impression, what happened in the right margin?

Hi, good idea with your Christmas Tree decorations.

Good question you have about the differences between left and right margins! I'm undecided at this point and have been for some period of time. Other people have claimed this is a triple transfer, but I disagree with those guesses. Hope someday to understand it one better. Wish Cloudy was still alive, bet he would have an answer.

Lol some may call it a copy right I call it a water mark. I was referring to the over print you add on your stamps. You just hide so much of the beauty of your stamps.

Hi mkfarm, I think I understand now what you meant by watermark, you were referring to the overprinted information I put on some stamps and leave off on other stamps. I always put it in places where it does not take away from the overall image, very careful in this respect.

The reason is sorted and some what difficult to talk about, so I'll just relate the short version.

Some time ago I made a discovery, posted an image on a unnamed site. Another collector lifted my scan and took credit for the discovery. I posted I was the person who made the discovery, no one believed me. I contacted the person and asked at least give me credit for owning the stamp, he refused even to do that!

So from then on with stamps that I have a vested interest in, I always overprint it with what ever I deem important and also "Stampmaster". That is why I watermark it as you say.

The end of the story, I gave the stamp to the other collector for free, as he will always be credited with the discovery and not me.
