Smack dab in the middle of flyover country, in The Peoples Republic of Illinois. I've gotten used to having to carry my papers with me everywhere I go, but the strip searches at the border crossings are still murder.

Rumor has it that the United States is considering offering asylum to those able to escape Illinois' oppresive regime, but I'm not holding out much hope given the current administration. At least the International Red Cross is now being allowed into the labor camps.

...and for anyone not permitted into the labor camps, Norway has been picked by UN to have the best living conditions for X number of consecutive years, so you might consider to look across the Atlantic to escape the current regime....
