The Northeast and Midwest seem to be at the top of the list. I found it interesting that based on the comments most responders had a Northeast connection at one time. Thank you to all. |

Hi Stampmaster. The only reason I can think of for someone from out of town to visit Las Vegas is to visit Charleston Stamps! Last real stamps store left in S. Nev. I believe. |

I consider it Mid-Atlantic but some call it the South. |

"The only reason.........to visit Las Vegas is to visit Charleston Stamps.........." When I go, it will be primarily to hike in Red Rock Canyons National Conservation Area immediately west of the city. |

Columbia, Maryland --some rating outfit recently rated it as America's best small city to reside in. I agree. |

rogdcam - I'm impressed you even included Scandinavia in your poll. This vote is from Norway, home of the Fjords, the midnight sun, the Northern light - and some pretty wom.....undoubtedly the most beautiful on the planet Shermae - thinking about you down in Florida right now, all the best. |

Mississippi ,for the purpose of your poll I know I am splitting hairs ,but we do not use the term southeast for our region. we prefer mid-south or deep-south. |

@CLIMBER STEVE, Have you ever tired Ice Box Canyon in Red Rock? Interesting canyon to explore. But actually Red Rock Canyon is immediately west of Summerlin NV, not Las Vegas!
Charleston Stamp Shop is almost like an old time Stamp Shop used to be like.
There are various Antique Shops in and around Las Vegas area, like Winchester, Summerlin, where you can often find used post cards with often good stamps.

I hadn't considered hitting the antique shops around the Vegas area Stampmaster, it sounds interesting.
Of interest is that the city of Las Vegas is actually quite small, mostly comprised of downtown Las Vegas. In fact, when you visit the strip you are in the unincorporated townships of Winchester and Paradise. |

@DRY TECH, start your exploring at the Train Station in downtown Las Vegas. Do not over look the Pawn Shops either. While pawn shops generally do not have much in stamps, every once in a while I find something either in stamps or stamp related, or relics of interest!
Estate sale sometime can result in interesting items, stamp collections where the family is trying to off load the collection of the departed.
Forget Apex NV.
