Hi,
I have a stamp with a dark spot near the bottom left part of the stamp. It doesn't affect the picture on the stamp or the perfs. It is in between. Are there companies that can clean a stamp for a fee. Would the q-tip process work on dark spots not related to toning

Without a clear image of the stamp, it is anybody's guess what the dark spot is. It could be mold, an inclusion, a stain, or maybe just grime.

Hi, make scans if you can, front and reverse sides, also enlargement of the area where the spot is.
