Just one more I found that brought back some memories. I was at this Exhibition in Melbourne in 2013. I remember it well and some of the great people I meet there. I even remember queuing to get this quite memorable issue.
It shows the the first Commonwealth postage stamp that was issued in 1913. Of course, the now very famous Roo. It was a stamp design, as some may know, that came about by combining two designs that were submitted and judged to be first and second placed at the time of the stamp design competition back in 1911.
Anyone know the "name" of the Roo, I will tell you later if not :-)
