Of course there's no law against it, Jim. My (intended) point was that if you make up an acronym that already commonly represents something else, it's confusing at best and of little use. Acronyms are great if everyone, or almost everyone at least, knows what they stand for. Otherwise, they can be irritating as shown by this thread. I too have had no trouble understanding what stampmaster is saying, but for me, anyway, the acronyms are an unnecessary distraction.
