This particular position on the pane was intentionally left blank, in order to make an even number of impressions on the pane.

Thanks for posting that for the SCF Family. I hesitate to ask, but did you inform the seller?

No, not yet.

Anyone else can, if they want.

The seller is a well known postal history dealer here in upstate NY. Who is now getting older and doing less shows and more internet selling. I have bought from him both at shows and from the internet and been very pleased with the results. I'm sure if you contact him he would be happy. Why do you say "anyone else can, if they want"? Are you just trolling for new number of posts?

Is it any easier to post here than to send an email to the seller. After all, e-Bay has a button "CONTACT THE SELLER"

The sheet format was 21 rows of six stamps for a total of 126 positions. It is true that dealing with sheets of 125 made calculations much easier. But a sheet of 125 five-eighths cent stamps neither comes out to an even number of stamps nor an even dollar and cents amount! The sheet of Piso Company five-eighths cents stamps would have had a face value of $78.12 ½.

Yes.

The first time I politely informed an ebay seller that their item was not as was presented and received not only a derogatory response but was then blocked from further bidding on the seller's items was my last.

If others have more positive experiences that's great, but I'm not going down that road again.

I believe that was the point in omitting one of the cliches from the pane.

I should have said "easier" rather than "even."

The point is, this block is not an error, it was intentional.

Obviously $78.12 ½ made buying even numbered quantities much easier then $78.13 1/8 did.

Uggh.

Too early in the day for me to do math.

I'll take your word for it.

All this being said, the block being offered is at a good price.

Similar examples from Eric are at $200.

$75 is probably a more accurate indicator of value, and I am not sure if that is too high.
