I was wondering if anyone knows how many panes are estimated to exist? The error booklet pane is Scott #5054c "horizontal die cutting omitted on side with 12 stamps." Besides this pane, I've only seen 1 other sold. I cant seem to find any info about the error. Any information appreciated!

Hi jmt406, I do not know the answer to your question and I doubt if the exact answer is known. But I think you should include the Scott number in the title of your post.

Thanks Peter, I added the Scott # in title. Apologies, I'm new. I previously posted under Classics, but caught my mistake.

I was hoping someone had some info, or an estimate how many escaped quality control. I've seen some errors that are estimated to have XX amount of examples.

No problem, you did not do anything bad! Just helps to find things when you add the Scott number.
Yes, on some of the older stamps the number of errors is known, probably mainly because so much time has passed. On some of the modern stuff that is printed by the millions it is hard to find out how many are affected. Sometimes only time will tell.

Thanks again Peter! It doesn't seem to be a very common error. Any time I've searched for the pane, I can't seem to find it! Like you said "only time will tell"! Maybe within the next 50 years I'll find out more info!
