Very interesting and new to me.

Although the two abstract designs are quite similar, they appear on two different setenant pairs.

The purplish colour on the lower pair's intersecting margins also appears to be in the background around Anne in a heavier concentration than on the upper pair, which does correspond to the stamp's normal image.

Perhaps a splash of purple ink fell on the printing plate and was printed on two or more panes.

no ink spill as can be seen from the images under normal light
maybe a damaged flourescent ink print.
