Hello,

A friend of mine found this stamp in his basement, just wondering which one it is.
Thank you

It is way too damaged to even try to ID it in my opinion,

It is a perf 11 x 10˝ 1 cent Scott 632. Counting the number of top or bottom perforations falling within the width of the design is relatively simple. The stamp needs a decent burial. Its highest and best use would be in the recycle bin.

The buy price for sound used copies was 5˘ for 100 in a glassine envelope. Now that the stamp market is collapsing and glassine envelopes are more expensive, the value has slid to zero. No one will take the time to pack them up and weigh them. It is no longer listed in the Ben Art buy list published by Mystic Stamp Company. That is not to say that inexperienced collectors should throw them away. Sound examples could improve a mix.
