Quite happy with these, won them in a local auction.

I believe this one is 57L1L, Relief A double transfer.

Also got this one which I think is 17L2

Nice margins on both--congrats on a good get! I'd say 57L1L definitely. Harder to tell from the photo about 17L2; more than one Plate 2 position has that vertical mark in the right margin.

Thanks. Sorry about the difference in the 2 images, it's my first go with the site's optimizer. I agree with the Plate 2 marks in the right margin but between Neinkins book and the DiPorto site. The Diporto site also shows a vertical mark (not as distinguishable) next to the lower right ornament. Under magnification I can also see that mark on the stamp above which is why I'm leaning towards 17L2.

Playing with new scanner. Here is a better image of the 57L1L

That 57L1L is a nice one. I don't know how badly you want to know the position of the Plate 2 stamp but it just cannot be 17L2 for the same reason I just gave in another thread. The alignment isn't right.

Winston, do you think the portion of the design of the adjacent stamp showing at the right should be lower in relation to the main stamp?

It should be even to ever so slightly higher if it were going to be 18L2.

An aspect I did not take into consideration. I will spend some more time on it later tonight and see if I can nail it down. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction Mr. Sinclair. Hoping nobody posts the proper plate position, I really enjoy trying to figure these out.
