Looks like the very scarce quattuorvigintuple impression variety. Or someone is posting ebay lots during an earthquake again. Jim |

Quote: Ahh yes, the very rare Foster Brooks variety. You know how old you have to be to get that? |

Quote: You know how old you have to be to get that? Nah, that's classic stuff! I thought briefly about posting about the upcoming hockey stamps and asking whether Don Rickles was featured on any of the stamps, but figured people wouldn't get the reference... |

I am not really surprised by what I see on ebay any longer. I love those RARE RED LINE and RARE GREEN LINE stamps listed for $5,000 or so. I search for those just to see if they ever get any bids. However, what I really wanted to say, was that the FOSTER BROOKS line was awesome. It's not often I can read a comment and ACTUALLY laugh out loud, but, in this case, I did just that. That was great. Thanks for that revenuecollector! Too bad not every one will understand the reference... |

The seller was just in a hurry and did not think anyone would care. |

A "one joke comic" who made a living 30 years ago by pretending to be a drunk. There were a couple of film actors who had careers playing drunks at parties when the story called for it as well. Perhaps not so funny to those who knew alcoholics or people harmed by them. |
