I have this metropolitan stamp that I have been trying to find information on and especially if people sell and or buy it. I see mainly one cent or five cent but I haven't seen a $.20 so I am not sure if it is less valuable or less wanted. Mainly what I'm interested in is what people would sell it for if they were selling it?

Hi

Your stamp is listed in the Scott Specialized catalog as 107L4. It has a value of about $325 if it is genuine.

The main difference between the genuine stamps and the reprints is the thickness of the paper and the ink color; the real ones are on thin paper.

Your stamp looks like the brown reprints rather than the red orange original stamps.

So it has a value of about $5.

Hope that this helps.

Jim
