Perfin history is very interesting!

We lost an amazing certifier called Simon Dunkly.

He was the best but would not give an Australian perfin a certificate.

All perf machines get bent perfin pins, off set perfin holes etc.

Plus the pins would not always properly go through many sheets of stamps at times.

Perfin ID is not a simple issue.

Have heard that the paper fibers point in a certain directions and other so called forms (for me) of superstition.

Am of the opinion that no one can truly be sure a perfin is not forged. I do not care who they are.

Status is not an auction for top end ify certified expensive stamps. To me they are a bulk lot auction house and I treat them that way buying and selling.

If status is on the nose what do we call Philas Auctions?
