Never seen this before.

Nope mine is the 5th copy of double printed at right.
Looks like a misplaced entry to me.
I don't know who has the other one....but this is findable again. No guide dots to prove plate 1 or 2 but colour alone strongly suggests Plate 2.

Hello ErrorsRock. This is a nice find that certainly proves that the stamp on Ralph's site is at least semi-constant and likely a constant misplaced or foreign entry.

Note that your subject line for this thread mentions "to prove constancy of transfer roll" which is not correct. The transfer roll is used to transfer the many impressions that appear on a single printing plate. If the marks shown on your stamp were on the transfer roll, they would appear in each position on the plate where the impression was transferred. To prove a transfer roll flaw, you need to show the same variety coming from multiple plate positions. It would also be unrealistically unlikely for a misplaced/foreign entry to appear on a transfer roll and would certainly never get so far as to be used to transfer impressions to a plate.

Your stamp is solid proof that this variety is likely constant in that it appears on the plate and on multiple sheets printed from that plate, as opposed to a random ink smear or other EFO printing issue. It has nothing to do with the transfer roll.

Ralph from re-entries.com should be confirming constancy soon. I have also sent pics to flyspecker.com and hope to see my name up as contributer. This is now the favorite stamp in my collection, I just love the eye markings.
