Neptune Orient Lines was founded in December, 1968 as the national container shipping company of Singapore. In November 1978, Singapore issued a set of 4 multicolor lithograph-printed stamps to celebrate the 10th anniversary of NOL. They are: 10c Neptune Spinel (bulk carrier), 35c Neptune Aries (tanker), 50c Anro Temasek (container ship), and 75c Neptune Pearl (container ship).  |
