Here's a block of ten 5 cent certificate stamps with the bottom stamps just starting to show vertical perforation holes that are beginning to turn into ovals, all the way up to two side-by-side perforation holes.
Just like a zipper opening, I think. Or closing, I guess. Depends on how you look at it.
Apparently something got loose in the ol' perforating machine.
