I am making good progress on my N & P resources bibliography and have been able to purchase quite a few of the books and auction catalogues on it.

The book continuing to elude me is U.S. Newspaper & Periodical Stamps: A Compilation of Articles from the Past by Richard Clyde Whitesell. Here is a Google on it:

https://books.google.com/books/abou...QprXGwAACAAJ

Any tips leading me to a copy or even more information on this volume much appreciated!

The Smithsonial Library has listed that they have a copy. You could go to your public Library and do an inter library loan and then scan it.
Just a thought.

Hi, Thanks. I see a copy at the Rocky Mountain Philatelic Library, also. I will check it out the next time I get down the mountain. Still, would like to have my own copy... I collect books, also.

You can always do a search with Abe books. I believe you can also ask to let you know if a copy becomes available. Go to http://abebooks.com .
