Scott # 11a mini sheet of 6 imperf stamps.

the stamp in the middle on the right side - upper left corner looks like 3/4 rather than the 1/4 that should be there. Also noticed that the shading seems to be different between the stamps.

is this an error or what?

Thank You for any information

I've no idea how Scott deals with this issue, but it's a sheet of Gibbons SG 17, and that is definitely not a Three-quarters in the top corner, or anywhere on the stamp or sheet. These are the typeset 1911 issues, the so-called Jail prints, because the Jaipur State Press was in the local jail and the printing was done by the inmates.

Value could be anywhere. Once upon a time, sheets such as this were hard to give away. Recently, full sheets have been sometimes fetching fancy prices on ebay, from suckers who hope - erroneously - to make a fortune out of them.
