Diagonal crease between the inked area and the blank area.

Nothing on the back.

Any ideas?

Maybe a paper fold over before printing, and then unfolded before canceling?

Jim

Folded before printing but unfolded before being rouletted. Nice item, pity about the punch hole.

But with the setoff/offset on the back you'd think that crease would catch some ink, not zero ink. But maybe the ink is worn off or I'm seeing the fold the wrong way.

The fold edge still looks like it was folded toward the face of the stamp. Double paper then?

Hi

It's regular old single paper.

Offset comes from being stacked when wet. It might have unfolded or been unfolded almost immediately after printing.
