I'm not sure this is all that uncommon, but I pulled this cover out of my RPO collection and realized there were actually three different RPO cancellations on the back. It's a special delivery cover from upstate New York to North Carolina. I can't quite make out the postmark on the front but it looks like it left on Aug. 7, 1935, received a Chicago & NY RPO cancel, followed (I think) by NY & Washington, then Binghamton & Philadelphia, arriving in Charlotte, NC at 1 a.m. on Aug. 9.

Anyone have a cover with three or more RPOs?

Canceled at 5PM on the 7th; USPS, beat that!

EDIT: After not finding a 1930s Postal Guide that I have, I fiddled with the image and am thinking the originating cancel is MONTEZUMA, N.Y.:

Thanks! That would be about an hour from Webster, NY on the return address. Maybe the sender was traveling and dropped off at the nearest P.O.
