Picked up some pages of Iran - one page has a header of Postage Due
Scott does not list any Postage Due

I have no clue ,what they are but clearly not Postage Due stamps ,maybe some kind of revenue stamps .

These are Iran SG T502 1ch red & green and SG T503 2ch red & yellow, postal tax stamps issued in Tabriz in 1918.

There were a number of local issues like this at the time to raise money for famine relief.

I don't see any of them in Scott.

Fabulous Nigel, I have had one of these for years without ID.
Our member "Tony Mac" identified it on a telegram receipt.
(possibly farsi)

Iran/Persia, so definitely Farsi.

Rod your "mint" 2ch (reads "100") stamp alone has some value to it with something added for being on the receipt. If postally used it would of course be way better. It's still a scarce piece, I'm sure.
