Would Azerbaijan be anywhere other than the "a" in albums, because I cannot locate it. Would it be located in/near Russia/Soviet Union?
Any insight is extremely helpful!

Would it be the last of the "A" countries?

What album are you looking in? In Scott catalogue follow Peter's advice.

Peter ... I think Azores trumps Azerbaijan for the last spot. There may be another, but no other entity comes immediately to mind. Of course, it's been a while since I looked at any other Scott catalogue than the U.S. Specialized. I suppose Azores could be located in the vicinity of Portugal.

Another possible location for Azerbaijan in an older album is under Transcaucasus.

You might look for a small catchall section or page that includes other small "A" countries. Look in the middle of the the "A"s with (La) Aguera, Alaouites and the others that are seldom encountered.

For any with the same question, it directly follows Arabia.

Jake- Well, it must for your Minkus Album, but you have not specified which Minkus album you have.

For my Minkus Supreme (1954 edition as now sold by Amosadsvantage), and Minkus Master (1956 edition, 1961 edition) albums, Azerbaijan follows Armenia.
