Here is an interesting 6C LQ that baffles the mind. I think it could be a shifted transfer. What do you think?

Lets show the back. It looks like it could be a tear that was poorly repaired...

It looks like a scanner error to me.

There is a perforation tooth which appears to be added under "X C". Not sure if the other is a wrinkle or sealed tear.

Please post a picture of the back. It looks like a tear runs diagonally through the right 6?

The mystery shall be solved soon as I receive it as the stamp is in the mail to me. The seller claimed it was sound with no rips or tears. I thought it was a tear as well until you look at the tops of the letters "CENTS" where the T would be way to tall if it lined up with the top of the N. Also if the right side of the E and the top of the N lined up with the tops of the other letters they would be to short. The border line above the N is also lifted and I could not see how this would be the result of a tear. The seller does take returns so if it is ripped I will send it back.

Occam's Razor comes to mind. What is more likely, a sealed tear or an unreported shifted transfer? Hope it works out for you.

Shoot!! It's a repaired tear, so back it goes.
