I don't buy much Alabama postal history, but this cover was in a 3-cent Washinton lot I bought at a show earlier this year. There is a Havana, Alabama but I'm not sure if it was ever spelled with a double "n". Is this a legitimate postmark?
I ask because I have other issues with the cover--the stamp. Though it looks a little too red, I've plated it as 19R0 and I'm pretty sure that's correct because the LRT has 1 line recut (few A reliefs do) and there is a shift in the top label--note the dots in the lower half of nearly every letter. However, 9 July is a little late for the usage of a Plate 0 stamp--but it could happen.
Any thoughts are welcomed.
