I have some Canada FDC with some pamphlets describing the stamp. Does that increase the value of the item of you goto sell it on ebay?

Can't hurt. You may as well mention it. Early FDCs (1970s and into the '80s on occasion) came with a pamphlet inside the envelope, which was generally not sealed. I've got a sealed FDC from 1984 that's got a pamphlet inside, which I've only ever seen once.
The catalogue values for FDCs don't seem to consider whether they're with or without pamphlets#8212;but the catalogue values are just made-up numbers, anyway, and bear little resemblance to actual rarity. |

Thanks for the thoughts kind friends. Much appreciated. Trying to figure out how to properly package these up for shipping should someone purchase them on ebay.... |

I've come across these too for Canada and other countries as well. I've always included them in the scans and descriptions. Someone out there will appreciate them and collect them. |

pariscollector: Just like Battlestamps, I always like to scan any insertions associated with a FDC. At times, they can provide information that might otherwise remain unknown. Respectfully submitted: jrc |

The brochures that accompanied new stamp issues are known - in Post Office parlance - as PS14s. I have collected, traded and sold them for many years. I am not alone. They are, IMHO, as valuable, or more valuable than FDCs. |

Only if the brochures are of interest to the potential buyer. In USA and other countries stamp issue collaterals (brochures, posters, launch covers) are held in high esteem. In Canada - most could not care less. Have never understood this. |

Note to self. List all auctions on ebay USA site and price in USD. Automatic 30% gain in value for is Canadian philatelists LOL. Going back to my other question work the UK stamps and the extra border/rebate area. Does that kind of stuff add value to a stamp? !E |
