Have a look at these and tell me what you think. Can you identify the block of 3 stamps with the ?rebate/edge on them? Does that edge add value to the stamps should I sell them? Also the Hungarian overprint is one I haven't ever come across before. Anyone ever see this stamp on their collection?

Regards
Eros

Sorry, but the Hungarian postage due stamp is a very common stamp found in mixture packet. And they are no overprint on it, it's a postmark, unless you talk about the 60 in black, this is also not an oveprint . The UK is a very easy stamp to find in catalogue

1937-39

typical $ 2 set on ebay

Thanks for the information. Friends, do bear with me. Some of the questions I ask, you might feel like doing a facepalm, but know that I'm rediscovering my stamp collection after almost 40 years and to me it's a treasure trove of memories, and an opportunity to do some ebay sales and make a small but respectable amount of money to support my interests. Be patient with me… my philosophy is simple: the dumbest question is the one that is not asked. Consider yourselves forewarned; I'm going to be asking a lot of them.

The main thing is though, I'm having a ton of fun and that's all that matters.

Cheers,
E

pariscollector, by all means ask away. The only dumb question is the one that goes unasked. As long as you're having fun with your collecting, you can't go wrong IMHO.
