In a different thread, I posted an example of a possible cracked plate

https://goscf.com/t/58016#506994

However, I'm going through several more copies and decided to start a dedicated thread just on this stamp. There is one major re-entry, that I am still hunting for. However, I have found several of the minor re-entries. Here is a minor re-entry on the top left corner of the middle stamp.

But I also find a short vertical line between stamp 1 and 2, at the bottom. Is this some sort of partial guide-line?

After searching through several hundred examples, I finally found the major re-entry, listed in Unitrade as 257viii, Pl 42708, pos 50. It is definitely a twisted re-entry, with indications at all four corners.

On the lower right corner, you can see the doubling in several letters, plus the right side.

Partime.

I have quite a few Newfoundland re-entries. Some major.

Here is a mint marginal block of six, Unitrade 257. Four of these have clear doubling. The lower three and the top centre.

Getting ready to shut down now, but will gladly add individual scans of these six all at 1200 dpi. But not tonight.

In-between jobs right now, I have a bit of time. I was able to complete the page for the Major, and here it is.

I haven't been able to locate a recent sale. The only picture I've seen is on re-entries.com, and that is an unused item. Does anyone have a wild estimate of the value of a used example?
