Wow! I don't think I've ever seen that many cancels on an envelope before. They sure tried hard to find the addressee. Wonder if any postal authority would do that today?

I am not a postal History specialist,
but it is a record for me...............

8 Postmarks on the one cover

SYDNEY
BALMAIN
KOGARAH
WATSONS BAY
NEWTOWN
MOSMAN
CREMORNE
DEAD LETTER OFFICE

.........and it went through the machine canceller twice (once upside down)

It is rather humorous seeing the "Send A Telegram" slogan cancel with all those postmarks! Becoming difficult to read the address, too!
