With all the interest in Turkey on this board ,I thought I would show my collection of German Offices . I purchased collection on these pages and have since added over a dozen stamps to fill out the pages .

Nice collection. Did you see the current Kelleher Collections auction #708, happening today and tomorrow? Very nice looking collection of German Offices in Turkey; lot #466.

Thanks Steve , Yes I been watching the lots and got the catalog. I plan to bid tomorrow on a collection or two . I am watching about a dozen lots , hope to pick up one or two if they let me win close to the opening bid but I didn't see anything that is a MUST HAVE ,I already spend a few dollars at the last auction on the German stuff and liked it ,since this is the third auction of German material and basically the same stuff , thinking maybe prices will be cheaper.
Will let you know what I win ,are you bidding ,seen two lots you may have a interest in ,but not what I am interested in at this time . Good Luck if you jump in .

Nice collection, thanks for sharing!

Question: What kind of paper is it?
(I like the 'texture')

Thanks everybody for the nice comments .

It gets more difficult to find the specialized items ,without paying full catalog to a German dealer . But I keep searching at shows and on the internet .

I purchased a German Colonies lot yesterday at Kelleher Stamp Auctions and hoping to find something to add to the above collection .

I purchased most of it at Regency ,so not sure of the paper stock ,since purchasing it added about 16 stamps most were purchased at half to full catalog . Still trying to improve my German Colonies especially with the last three Kelleher Auctions .

Floortrader: glad you got a lot from the Kelleher auction. I put in a low bid on the German East Africa town cancel lot, since it did not sell in the previous Kelleher collections auction. It would have been a nice complement to my British East Africa specialty. But, alas, I got out bid by one level.

I did look closely at the Portuguese colonies lots, but did not bid. If successful, would have gotten a ton of duplicates. My Portuguese colonial collections are pretty comprehensive by now, so I'm in a "fill the holes" mode, especially for modern stuff in the 1965-74 time frame. And still have to digest a major purchase of P & C Ceres issues from Rasdale earlier this year.
