Kind of hate to see an example of a "roughly aged" stamp from this guy.

Sheesh.

Jim

p.s. Even worse perhaps, is $17 to ship this to the U.S.? Really?

That's nuts, I would throw that stamp away. It has zero value. People are strange, ok, quoting Doors lyrics, seriously time to go to bed.

Gently aged? I think he needs new glasses. Follow him and see if he posts a 'roughly aged' stamp, that would be something to see too! <grin>

Thanks for finding this and the giggle it gave me!

His expanded description includes "!!...Highly Collectible...!!" Perhaps highly collectible in the recycling bin?

If he ripped the top third of the stamp off he could advertise it as "missing blue color".

I have a "roughly" aged copy of this. It IS very rare however because of the missing Washington and Jefferson.

Your asking price is clearly way too low :) The free shipping is a plus! I'd buy it but I have enough stamps here to supply all of Los Angeles.

LOL, funny stuff!

I think you should. If he goes for it, let me know, I have a zillion plate blocks I can offer him too. You first of course :) I think your shipping cost is WAY too low for such a valuable plate block though......

His description is probably the longest I have ever seen. It just goes on and on.......and on and on.......and on and on......and on and on.......and on and on.......you get the idea.

And on.....and on.....and on.....I guess he figures it will get him more hits to his ad or talk a newbie into it? Hope he isn't a member here, all in fun because it is so silly I would think it was an April Fool's joke!

If it sells.......no words.
