Catalogue says either Ajman in volume 1 which ends at year 1970 or United Arab Emirates volume number 5 which starts at 1973. My volume 5 is a 2006 and my volume 1 is 2003. I know time to update I guess.

The stamps in question are the leticular type (called 3D stamps sometimes)

Hi Mac.....

According to my Linns identifier......stamps labeled Manama are Ajman locals and not recognised as legitimate.

According to my 08 Scott, stamps of Ajman were replaced by those of the United Arab Emirates in 1972. The UAE was created in 1971 by the union of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujeira, Sharjah and Umn al Qiwain......Ras al Khaima joined in 1972. Together they are referred to as Trucial States.

...that's just what Amos/Scott says;)

These can be found in Michel (Gulf States) Catalogue...They are very legitimate as they were ordered by ruling regime/governements at a time. The only thing that is questionable with these issues is IF (and what scale) these were sold/provided to the public in originating areas.
