I suppose one should be glad that the seller mentioned any faults at all. I suppose there actually is a thin in there somewhere, buried amongst all the repairs, creases, internal tears, pulled perfs, scuffs, toning spots, etc.

I would love to see what would be left if someone soaked it... all sorts of bits and pieces would float away.

Overpriced by easily a factor of 3-4.

I would have to agree this is a very poor example of the stamp. Given it's scarcity, still, I wouldn't be willing to go even 10% of the catalog with the condition of this stamp.

It will still be listed at this price this time in 2117....

How lazy can one be to patch a hole with a scrap of paper that doesn't even have the same printed ink color as what you're patching?
