The stocks are very interesting - mostly Railroad and Insurance. Here are a few more...

Congrats on a great find! 20+ years ago about 200 of these incoming bills of exchange from Cuba drawn on Danford Knowlton & Co. of N.Y., and stamped by them upon acceptance, surfaced in two large batches. I wrote them up extensively in the Sep 1995 American Revenuer, listing every one! Included were three w/ R77c (one a solo usage like yours, another a killer piece w/ R84c & R42c); one with R79c (& R42c); one w/ solo R87c; also some with nice 2nd & 3rd Issues. Now here is a third large batch!

I reduced my scans to 600 pixels on a side, this is way too conservative! Made them 1200 and reposted but program used cached small ones (I didn't rename). I will place larger scans tonite. Anyway the pics with multiple documents are from an exhibit on the Knowlton bills

Wow fiscals those are great! Most of mine are multiple usages. Can you tell me any more about the exhibit?

I would LOVE to read your article. But AP archives only go back to 2007. Do you have a copy?

Sorry - American Revenuer. I'm so excited I can't read straight. Unfortunately my library doesn't go back to '95 for the AR : (

For some of us your material speaks for itself. :-) I might add that fiscals is one of the most knowledgeable revenue collectors around, particularly on documents and rates, with a remarkable collection.

I made the article into a pdf but don't see how to get it to you. What means "PM"?
