To avoid confusion over the term "mint" for their overseas buyers Sandafayre defines "mint" as having been previously hinged. The "mounted mint" explanation is also interesting.
But the description says, "9 EARLY US STAMPS IN UNUSED CONDITION - MOST, IF NOT ALL SHOW SIGNS OF BEING PREVIOUSLY HINGED (NO REMINANTS REMAIN)." (I'm not shouting here; the original item description is.)
So what is "NH" supposed to mean? There aren't any hinges on them right now?
Looking at that listing, these are stamps from the 1920's. Not exactly what I would call "early" U.S. stamps. There's more than just the problem with NH with this listing.
