Hey guys,
It has been along time since I've posted over here in the stamp forum and since then lots of things happened to my stamp collection. First of all I stopped collecting CTOs and US stamps.

Second I stopped collecting worldwide stamps beside countinuing my south Vietnam stamp collection which had pretty few stamps at the time. Advance forward a year and a half and now I'm just missing about 20 stamps in my South Vietnam stamp collection, excluding impeforates and booklets.

And here is my question, How should I reorganize my stamps, cause it's a mess? Currently I have an nonconstant number of each full set and a bunch of extras singles accumulated over time. I left spaces for the missing stamps in the stockbook.

Should I do full sets and the extras right on the bottom of them?
Should I do just one set and put the extras in a second stockbook
Etc.

If you're collecting used stamps maybe there's some scope for postmarks in your extras?

Justin,

Roughly how many stamps did South VietNam Issue? It sounds like it may be a good area to pursue as it has a relatively short lifespan like my KGVI collection.

The following is what I recommend ----Organize your album or stock book to a major catalog ,it doesn't matter which one but the more detail the catalog the better . The reason is so it easy to follow what is missing .Second keep to separate collection of mint and used . Third ,don't hide damage stamps ,identify it until a better copy comes along .
There was a lot going on in S. Viet Nam try adding those items to your collection . You had V.C. ,U.S. ,ROK, Australian and others running P.O.'s of their own.

I'm mainly into mint stamps but accumulated lots of used ones as well.

They issued I think 584 Stamps with 21 unissued. I'm done with the unissued just missing 20 random ones within some sets along with the darn expensive 1st souvenir booklet and normal stamp booklets.
