Egyptian Sultan Fouad "Fuad I (Arabic: #1601;#1572;#1575;#1583; #1575;#1604;#1571;#1608;#1604;#8206; Fu'#257;d al-Awwal, Turkish: I. Fuad or Ahmed Fuad Pa#351;a; 26 March 1868 – 28 April 1936) was the Sultan and later King of Egypt and Sudan, Sovereign of Nubia, Kordofan, and Darfur. The ninth ruler of Egypt and Sudan from the Muhammad Ali dynasty, he became Sultan of Egypt and Sudan in 1917, succeeding his elder brother Sultan Hussein Kamel. He substituted the title of King for Sultan when the United Kingdom recognised Egyptian independence in 1922. His name is sometimes spelled Fouad."

It appears to be an embossed cutout from a piece of stationery, similar to this:

Yes as can be seen by the cancels, it's definitely a postal stationery cutout.

Sherifsaleh, welcome to the forum. Pretty cut-out, but please tell us why this would be the only one in the world?

Dear All Colleagues, First, i would like to give my deep appreciation to you & to your comments, but there are some facts that may not appear on the attached photo,
1- it is REAL STAMP not cut out from ant postals, glue on the back still there
2-the issuing date belongs to 1920's
3-the color which is rare
i hope you will help me DISCOVERING more about this matter, with opened heart to you all.

Salutes & Regards
Sherif

Glue on the used stamp is usually not preserved, but it is not difficult to apply again.

Despite all the red typing, the only thing that Sherifsaleh is showing is his (perhaps!) willingness to make profit out of "poor ignorant philatelists" from a "unique and rare finding". Actually, a crude manipulation of a very common and worthless item. IMO Moderators should close this thread.

This thread is going no where productive. The item in question appears to be a cut-out from Egyptian from an envelopes. If anyone has firm evidence of this not being true, they can contact the Moderators and we will post an update.
Otherwise, please move on.
