A flight filled with mystery. The only official mail drop was in Er Ramle in Palestine. Most of the mail was left in the bags and sent back to Germany for distribution without a receiving postmark so this cover is rare. Several times crew members dropped small bags of mail to be picked up and delivered to local post offices. "Unofficial" drops were made to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Rome, Spaleto, Vienna and Munich, and these covers are very valuable if authenticated.
