Is it just me or is anyone else having this issue? I click on save to watch list and- nothing. It is inoperative. I use Chrome and wonder if anyone else is having this?

Not to insult your intelligence, but did you try the "LOG OUT and LOG IN" again ?

Usually it's something simple like that.

It sounds like what happens when you have reached the maximum items you can watch at one time on ebay. Go check your watch list and see if it says you are full. If it is and you delete some items then you MUST log out of your ebay account and re- login for it to recognize you are now below the limit. (one of the many ancient ebay bugs)

Agreed. Check for, and remove, old expired watched items.

I've had ebay give me watch reminders on items that I stopped watching many months ago, Their system breaks in so many weird ways these days and before you know it someone has righted the ship.

I have noticed odd things in the watch system lately. As relates to the OP's observations, I note that in *some* cases, I have found indication of me watching a lot to be in a small font, located to the right of the main scan/photo (mixed in with a lot of other boilerplate stuff), and nothing in the normal watch area. Normally, the indication of a lot being watched by you is a colored banner above the scan/photo, in a reasonably sized font.
I also note that this change was not present as I did my morning scan of a few favorite categories. Maybe ebay experimented and changed it back?

I've seen this issue as well, but in Edge. My sense of it is that a supporting software, e.g. Java or Flash, has compatibility problems with some browsers. Fortunately I have not seen this problem in Chrome. One way I test this issue is to roll my mouse over the "watch" button, sometimes seeing it change to "watching."

Hi Rene
I think the original poster was referring to ebay.

I've found that sometimes when I click Watch This Item nothing seems to happen on the listing page, but the item ends up on my watch list anyway. If my watch list is full I will get some kind of notice to that effect.
