On my ebay ticker this morning, this popped up.

Is this for real? My Scott Specialized (which is OLD) has nothing listed in the K section about it. Are these precancels or were they just local overprints -- or fakes?

If you like this sort of thing, how does this piece strike you? It's in my collection, not on ebay or elsewhere.

I picked this up in a Kelleher auction a while back. It was lot 672 in their sale 2070, August 5, 2015. I thought it was a neat piece.

I like that piece Stampman!

So back to the Darrah overprints -- these were just philatelic inventions by a postal agent? Why would they be so highly valued?
