Having just looked aghast at the boxes and albums of duplicated French stamps I've accumulated over the years, I think you're well out of this lot! |

I've purchased a couple of collections which looked like that one lot... Years later, I'm still trying to finish sorting a couple of them... It is a lot of fun, though |

Eiger, if you can negotiate an local pickup, a quick search shows flights from Heathrow to Philadelphia for less that $600 roundtrip. ;) |

There's a thought I could fly over! I'm sure a courier would be cheaper than $300. The collection would see me through to retirement I think |

Looks like free shipping in the U.S. That's a big advantage for a U.S. buyer. Almost 3 days left and already 42 bids by more than a dozen unique bidders... the price is gunna climb. |

Holy YIKES! I could have fun for a VERY long time!
If I had the money I would do a local pick up as I am only an hour and a half away! I could not wait for delivery time. Keeping my eye on that one.
However, what are the chances that all of the stamps are properly identified? I would love to find some of the more difficult Wash/Franks in there.

Fun, but no way to even begin to estimate a realistic value on a lot like this. All anyone can do is decide how much the fun is worth and bid accordingly. |

I looked about about 1/4 of the images and got a headache thinking about sorting this lot. |

Very tempting but I already have too many to sort and organize, would just take up more space! |

If I had the money I'd buy them for sure - that would be a barrel of fun! |

A while back, I ordered some stamps from the Netherlands. Two months later, I was waiting for them to arrive. So I cancelled the order and reordered from someone else. Then the first order arrived. I contacted the seller to get his address. My shipping cost for a packet of stamps to the Netherlands will be over $80-! Outrageous.

Based on the photos, I would think about $25 a box is all it's worth. Lots of duplication of common stamps with very little probability of finding anything really valuable. |
