when I look in my unitrade book at scott number 16. The printed number is 1000 sheet. How many stamps was printed in 1 full sheet of the first cents issue ?

Unitrade says 1000 sheets for the first printing only.

audetnelson1 - often the information for a set or series of stamps is listed at the front of the set/series.

In your case, Unitrade page 43 states that the First Cents Issue stamps were printed in sheets of 100 stamps.

Looking at a reference on the Postal History of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, both Provinces, in the 1859-1860 period, ordered decimal currency stamps from the American Banknote Company. They were printed in sheets of 100. Ref: "The Postal History of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, 1754-1867" by Jephcott, Greene and Young - Sissons Publications Ltd, Toronto, Canada 1964.
