Need Help Identifying These Stamps.

These two stamps appear to be from Turkey but I'm not sure. They are identical except the on on the right has overprint.

These are both stamps to raise funds for the Red Crescent.

The first one from 1923 was voluntary, so basically a charity label.

The second one with the surcharge was an obligatory tax stamp / postal tax stamp from 1927, SG T1054.

Any idea of the value?

Dave - you seem to have stumbled onto a bunch of turkish stamps recently??

As far as values, my catalog is from 2011: the first one had a value of app $7, and the 2nd one app $9. You could safely assume a bit more in current catalogs, but someone with a more recent, up to date, and fancier catalog than mine would have to chime in...
